Every idea begins quietly.
Ours began in 2016 with a simple question and a famous line by Mark Twain about the two most important days in our life.
The idea was to build an app called Twain — a space to connect people
through the shared moment of birth.
The concept was ahead of its time. The world wasn’t ready.
And perhaps, neither were we.
So the idea waited.
Nearly a decade later, in 2025, the world looks very different. Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how we work, communicate, and relate to one another. Algorithms decide what we see, who we meet, and how we connect.
In this new world order, we felt the need to return to something deeply human.
That’s when DobYob was born.
The founders of DobYob are entrepreneurs and technologists who believe that while technology should scale efficiency, it must also protect meaning. DobYob is our attempt to use technology not to divide attention, but to reveal connection.
This is not a social network in the traditional sense. It is a community of people who share the same starting point in time.
